New Talent Find: Simone Rocha

Irish-born designer Simone Rocha, has stepped out from behind her famous father, John Rocha, and made a name for herself as an artist to watch out for. A graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins College in London, this relatively new designer, with only six collections into her career, has made an impact on the fashion scene and garnered a great deal of critical acclaim. Her style aesthetic is an intriguing blend of youthfulness with an edge: “modern and strong yet romantic.”

“This season’s very much inspired by my grandmothers – my Chinese granny and my Irish granny. My relationship with them and my respect for them made me think about my respect and relationship with clothing. I really wanted to develop this collection more, be a little bit more respectful, so it feels a little bit more grown up.” – Simone Rocha
